At the moment, the Hai Phong port has 5 branches. The port area has 21 wharves that are a total of 3,567m long and are designed to be between -7.5m and -9.4m deep. The CFS warehouse at Chua Ve port is 3,300 m2, and the container yard at Chua Ve and Tan Vu ports is 712,110 m2.

Vung Tau sea Port

This is a group of 4 areas with 10 major ports that serve the Southeast region of Vietnam for oil and gas trade and other business. At the same time, Vung Tau port is one of Vietnam’s two ways to get to the rest of the world.
On April 10, the Yang Ming Wellhead vessel with a capacity of 14,000 TEU docked at Tan Cang – Cai Mep Thi Vai port (CMTV). The port was able to handle and load the 160,000 tons it carried. CMTV port and Vung Tau port in general are used to unload container ships.

Planned until 2020, Vung Tau port will add two more berthing areas in Long Son. These will be near Cai Mep-Sao Mai Ben Dinh, Phu My-My Xuan, Dinh River, and Dam-Con Dao wharf areas. Sao Mai-Ben Dinh is used by the oil and gas industry and for moving people.

Van Phong sea port

Van Phong port is close to international trade routes and has the shortest trip across the Pacific compared to Hong Kong and Singapore. It could become an international transshipment port in Vietnam.
The Van Phong port construction project has been going again since late 2009. It will be finished in two stages by 2020. As expected, Vietnam’s international transshipment port can handle 5 million TEUs per year. It has 8 berths for container ships that can hold up to 12,000 TEUs and 8 berths for feeders. The total area of the port is 405 ha, and the total length of the berths is up to 5,710m.

Quy Nhon sea port

Quy Nhon Port is in the middle of Quy Nhon City in Binh Dinh Province. It has good natural conditions and a good location, so it is thought to be the best port in the Central region. It can take ships with a tonnage of between 30,000 DWT and 50,000 DWT.

The port has a total area of 306,568 m2. The total area of the warehouses is 30,732 m2, and the CFS warehouse is 1,971 m2. The yard area is 201,000 m2, and the container yard is 48,000 m2.

In the future, about VND 180 billion will be put into Quy Nhon port to improve the running channel so that 50,000-ton ships can enter and leave the port safely and easily. At the same time, Quy Nhon port is determined to become an international port in the South Central region now that Vietnam Maritime Corporation is in charge of its investments. This will help Vietnam’s maritime transport industry grow.

Quang Ninh sea port

The Quang Ninh Port is a deep-sea port that is in Northern Vietnam’s most important economic area. The Ministry of Transport’s plan says that Quan Ninh port is the second most important seaport in Northern Vietnam, after Hai Phong, which is in the middle.
The port has a total area of 154,700 m2; the total size of the warehouses is 5400 m2 and the total size of the container yard is 49000 m2.

Cua Lo sea port

The Cua Lo port is part of the Nghe An port cluster. It is recognized as an important container port in the group of seaports in the North Central region of Vietnam, with a port length of 3,020m and the ability to accept ships with a deadweight tonnage (DWT) of between 30,000 and 50,000.
Planning for the Cua Lo port cluster was done at a meeting Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc held in February in Nghe An. The goal of the plan is to make Nghe An province an international seaport that can handle ships up to 10,000 DWT and meet the needs of Nghe An province and nearby provinces for importing and exporting. This is expected to happen in 2030. Part of Laos and Northeast Thailand are also in the North Central region.

Dung Quat sea Port

Dung Quat port is Vietnam’s national general seaport. It is in the province of Quang Ngai. About 0.6 million tons of cargo pass through the Port every year, and an average of 150 ships dock there every year.
Dung Quat port is made up of two port areas with a total warehouse space of 3,600 m2 and a port yard that can be as big as 50,000 m2. Terminal 1 is the main port area in Dung Quat Bay. It can handle ships with a capacity of up to 70,000 DWT and can load and unload goods and equipment needed to build the Dung Quat Oil Refinery. At the same time, wharf No. 2 at the mouth of Sa Ky seaport can fit 3,000 DWT ships, which are mostly used for local shipping needs.

Chan May sea Port

Chan May Port is a general port in our country. It is between Hue and Da Nang, which are the two largest cities in the area. The Asian Yacht Association has chosen Chan May port to build a stop for yachts in Southeast Asia that can also welcome cruise ships. The port can also handle container ships with a tonnage of up to 50,000 DWT. The international calendar is 362 meters long and can hold 225,282 GRT in total.
Ben 1 and 2 are the only berths at Chan May port right now. Ben 3 will be done in 2018. The plan says that by 2020, the Chan May port will have six general cargo berths that are 1,680m long. This port will have eight general cargo terminals with a total length of 2,280 meters by the year 2030. By 2020, the amount of goods going through Chan May port is expected to reach 7.4 million tons per year.

Da Nang sea Port

In the last place, the port of Da Nang is also a general port, which is the center of the whole country. There are three berthing areas in Da Nang port: Tien Sa – Son Tra, Lien Chieu, and Tho Quang. Tien Sa – Son Tra is the main berthing area, with a total yard area of 178.603m2 and a total warehouse area of 14.285m2.
With the goal of being the most modern seaport in central Vietnam, Da Nang port is currently working on an investment project to expand Tien Sa Port phase 2 to 2018. This will increase the capacity of receiving ships to 50,000 DWT and container ships to 3,000 TEU. At the same time, a 30-ha to 50-ha transshipment warehouse area will be built between 2015 and 2020.
